Embrace Summer Christmas in Australia with this refreshing smoothie bowl full of surprises. Crack the hard chocolate top to find gooey cherry chia jam in the centre and a beautiful maeve coloured smoothie.
Ingredients

3 Frozen Bananas

1 pink pitaya

1 Tbsp Power Super Foods Acai Powder

1 Tbsp Power Super Foods Maqui Powder

1 cup Fresh or frozen cherries pitted

2 Tbsp Power Super Foods Organic Chia Seeds

2 Tbsp water
-
Melted Dark Chocolate OR melted Power Super Foods Cacao Butter mixed with Power Super Foods Cacao Powder and maple syrup to taste.

Pistachio, walnuts and crushed candy canes

Cherry Chia Jam

Method
Bowl
Blend ingredients until smooth in a high speed blender
Chia Jam
Bring water and cherries to a boil and then lower heat
Mash cherries until desired consistency is achieved
Stir in Chia seeds and let simmer covered for 15 minutes or until the water has absorbed, stirring occasionally
Hide cherry jam in centre and cover with the smoothie
Store any chia jam leftovers in a jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks
Choc Top
Pour melted chocolate over the cold bowl and spread until it hardens
Sprinkle over toppings and serve
