With a tart yet mildly sweet citrus-pineapple-sultana flavour, Goldenberries are low in calories and packed with nutrients including vitamin C, fibre, potassium, antioxidant rich compounds and phytonutrients.
For a tangy energy boost to your afternoon snacking, try this nutrient packed no bake fruity fudge.
Ingredients

1 Cup gently melted Cacao Butter

1 Cup pure maple syrup or rice malt syrup

1/2 Tsp vanilla extract
-
pinch of salt
-
2 Tsp Maca Powder (either raw or gelatinised)

1 Cup Cacao Gold Powder

1 Cup organic almond butter
-
1/2 Cup Goldenberries
-
1/2 Cup Goji Berries
-
3 Tbsp Cacao Crunch or Cacao Nibs

2 Tbs Chia Seeds
Method
Place all ingredients except the Goldenberries and Goji Berries, Nibs and Chia into a food processor and blend. (you could also use a stick blender)
Mix in the super berries. Pour and spread into a lined 20 x 20 cm tin and sprinkle with Chia Seeds and Cacao Nibs.
Place in fridge to set - fudge should set fairly quickly
Slice into small pieces and serve at room temperature.
