Vegan Chocolate Tart
Make this delicious vegan chocolate tart with our organic fairly traded Cacao Powder and get the chocolate party started. Eat it for breakfast lunch or dinner! (Following savoury meals if you must) Makes the perfect dessert tart for Easter!
1 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup almond meal
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
3 tablespoons Power Super Foods coconut sugar
1/3 cup vegan butter
2 tablespoons of almond milk
300ml vegan whipping cream
180g 70% chocolate
2 tablespoons of Power Super Foods Cacao Powder
Chocolate Ganache Filling
Pre heat oven at 200C lower to 180C for baking crust
Add all ingredients to food processor and pulse to get a mixture combined together.
Press the mixture into a tart tin and bake for 30 minutes
Melt the chopped chocolate in a heat proof glass container and add 2 tablespoons of cacao powder
Heat the cream until just simmering
Pour the warm cream over the chocolate and stir until smooth
Add one avocado and using a hand blender, blend for 3 minutes until it’s a smooth consistency.
Enjoy the chocolate tart with fresh fruits such as raspberries and strawberries. I have also sprinkled delicious Power Super Foods Cacao Crunch on the top
