Chocolate Maca Baked Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats - use gluten free if required

  • 1/2 cup oat flour (or use all rolled oats) 

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 3 tbsp Cacao Powder 

  • 2 tsp Maca Powder

  • Up to 2 tsp liquid sweetener such as maple or agave syrup

  • 1 cup milk of choice

  • Dark Chocolate Chunks (optional)

  • 2 tbsp Cacao Powder

  • 1 tsp Maca Powder

  • 1 tbsp agave syrup 

  • 1 tbsp tahini 

  • Enough milk to make a smooth sauce 

Directions

  1. In a bowl combine the oats, oat flour, baking powder, Cacao Powder, Maca Powder, chocolate chunks if using and stir together

  2. Add the milk along with the syrup and mix together 

  3. Pour into an oven proof dish and pop into a pre heated oven at 180 C for 15-18 minutes 

  4. While this is cooking, make the sauce

  1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together until you get a nice smooth sauce consistency (you also have the option to heat the sauce up if you wished) 

  2. Allow the baked oats to cool slightly and pour over some of the sauce 

  3. Use the remaining sauce to pour over once you've served the baked oats into a bowl
