A divinely decadent chocolate dessert (or breakfast ... we won't judge!) made with oat cream for a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional mousse. We've used our premium Cacao Gold Powder with its luxurious velvety texture and higher fat content to make the richest most delicious chocolatey treats.
500ml oat cream (we used 2 x 250ml Oatly cooking cream)
1/2 cup Power Super Foods Cacao Gold Powder
3 Tbs Power Super Foods coconut sugar
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Ensure the oat cream is cold or freeze about 20 minutes.
Pour the cream into a large bowl and use an electric mixer to whip into a thicker smooth cream. (about 3-5 mins)
Add in the remaining ingredients and whip until it forms a mousse-like texture for about 3 minutes. You can allow it to thicken further by popping it into the freezer for an hour.
Serve into bowls with shaved cacao pieces or nibs or add some coconut whipped cream on top for an extra special dessert. If making for Easter decorate with chocolate eggs.
