Cacao Gold Powder* (Theobroma cacao criollo) 65%, Lucuma*, Maca Powder*, Mesquite*, Madagascar Vanilla*
*Certified Organic
All cacao is not created equal. The cacao used in our Nourish Drinking Chocolate comes from the finest quality criollo cacao beans organically grown on smallholder farms in South and central America. Unlike cocoa powders that are often heated to more than 150 degrees and chemically extracted, our cacao powder is minimally processed with care at low temperatures for a superior richer taste and higher nutritional benefits.
Our cacao is fairly traded and certified organic with no toxic chemicals, pesticides or GMOs used in cultivation or processing. As an additional step for product purity, we also ensure all our cacao is tested for safe low levels of cadmium.
Fairy traded sustainable cacao ensures producers receive a fair price for their cacao and helps break the cycle of poverty, bringing opportunities and dignity to indigenous communities.
When selecting our cacao we only choose the most delicious and exceptional cacao we can find with a complex flavour profile and superior texture. We think it’s the best cacao in the world! Our Maca, Mesquite and Lucuma come from Fair Trade certified organic farmers in Peru. Our Madagascar Vanilla comes from the finest whole bean vanilla in the world with exceptional flavour and aroma.Smooth, uplifting and satisfying, Nourish Drinking Chocolate makes an exceptional hot chocolate. Dissolve 2-4 teaspoons with a splash of boiled water then top with 200mls of heated milk of choice or water. The ideal temperature is around 70 degrees. Mix well using a whisk, frother or steam wand. Nourish contains no sweeteners and is balanced by naturally sweet lucuma, malty maca and caramelly mesquite. Enjoy as is or sweeten to taste. Nourish can also be made into an iced drink, dusted on ice cream or added to bliss balls, smoothies, baked goods, treats and desserts.
I love that this blend includes nourishing ingredients like maca, mesquite and real vanilla, it’s so much more than your average chocolate powder with sugar. It’s a thoughtfully crafted mix that feels both indulgent and intentional. If you prefer a sweeter taste, you can easily adjust it by adding your own sweetener. It’s super simple to prepare too. Just mix with hot water and a splash of milk. The texture is smooth and you can easily make it richer by adding a little extra powder to suit your taste. I’m really impressed by how committed this brand is to doing the right thing- ethically, sustainably and socially. From using 100% ACO certified organic ingredients to supporting smallholder farms and fair trade practices, it feels like they’ve thought through every part of their supply chain. I especially love that they focus on regenerative farming and work with Indigenous communities, which helps protect the planet and support people in areas that really benefit from it. The third-party testing for heavy metals, especially in cacao, also shows they genuinely care about quality and safety. And as someone who tries to avoid unnecessary additives, I really appreciate that their products are clean and made with intention.

This one has a moderate chocolatey richness, with the lucuma coming through in a nice, grounding way alongside the cacao. I didn’t feel the need to add any extra sweetener, which speaks well to the balance of the blend. What stood out to me most about Power Super Foods is their commitment to third-party testing for heavy metals in their cacao; this is such an important safeguard in a category where contamination risk can be so much higher than people realise these days. I’m also impressed by their sourcing from fairly traded smallholder organic farms, which supports regenerative farming.

"Power Super Foods is a company I’ve known for about a decade and have come to trust to deliver high-quality food products that are nutritious, safe and incredibly delicious.
I’ve been recommending the brand to my Wellness Coaching Clients and I recently fell in love with the cacao hot drinks as a substitute for coffee and alcohol when you need to something to drink, that would make you feel up or a calm down.
The iron, Maca and high-quality less processed cacao means that you’re getting your hormones to work better whilst enjoying a healthier cup of hot chocolate."

Hot chocolate mixes can often be too sweet – I love that with this product it’s not sweetened at all, making it easier to choose which sweetener you would like to use and how much. The addition of vanilla pairs beautifully with the lucuma, maca and mesquite, making this a really unique and delicious hot chocolate, with superfood benefits. Power Super Foods have created a beautiful product that not only tastes delicious but is also completely certified organic, reducing its impact on the environment. Knowing that they also use ingredients only from certified fairtrade suppliers, have their products third-party tested for heavy metals and don’t use any additives or fillers gives me a lot of trust in the brand as a whole.

Native to South American rainforests surrounding the Amazon, Theobroma Cacao (a name translating to “food of the Gods”) has attracted the adoration of humanity dating back to ancient Mayan civilisation, where cacao was prized for its ability to promote energy and mental clarity.
