This layered Cacao Chia Pudding is a choco-licious combination of our favourite superfoods Chia and Cacao Paste (100% solidified cacao) in a healthy and easy to make pudding. Prep the night before for instant breakfast joy!
Power Super Foods
5 Tbsp Chia Seeds
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
250 mls almond milk
1 tsp vanilla
6 x Power Super Foods Cacao Paste Buttons
2 Tbsp nut milk
1 Tbsp maple syrup
Mix together the Chia Seeds, 2 tbsp maple syrup, 250ml almond milk and vanilla
Place 6 paste buttons with 2 tbsp nut milk and 1 tbsp maple syrup in a heatproof bowl over a pan of water
Bring water to simmer, turn off heat and allow buttons to melt slowly, stirring regularly
Add the melted cacao paste buttons to the chia pudding and mix together
Add extra milk if required
Layer pudding in a glass container with fruits such as strawberries and kiwi fruit
Place in fridge for 6 hours to allow to set and form a gel like consistency
Serve topped with cacao nibs, fruit, pitaya or coconut yoghurt
