Elderberry Syrup

Directions

1. Combine Elderberry Powder, water and ginger (and other additions if using) in a medium saucepan

2. Simmer for 30-45 mins until reduced by about 1/3

3. Strain into a jug using a fine mesh strainer (Keep the excess powder and use in chia puddings or muffins – you could also leave it in the mixture)

4. Allow to cool and stir in honey

5. Pour into and store in a sterilised glass container in the fridge – makes 1-2 cups
